All the predictions based on any chart are directly related to the time for which the horoscope is erected. If the timing is wrong, then it can make lot of difference in reading. So correct timing becomes absolutely essential while casting any horoscope.

 Even a small discrepancy of a few minutes can throw the proper Ascendant out by a degree. Generally when the ascendant is in sandhi of two signs (border of 2 signs), rectification of birth time becomes imperative.

 There have been cases, where a non manglik native has married a manglik girl (If both male and female are manglik, its considered to neutralize the dosha) thinking that he too is a manglik because of the horoscope showed him manglik for his wrong birth details.
